Welcome to the Southwest Mississippi Amateur Radio Club homepage. Providing an online source of information to Amateur Radio interests and general public needs. We participate in the statewide SKYWARN network which is based from the National Weather Service in Jackson, MS and Slidell, LA.  The SMARC also participates in the Amateur Radio Emergency Service and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services. In this, we help provide emergency assistance to local authorities, hospitals, and relay general traffic. The SMARC also participates in Field Day, bike races, festivals, emergency tests, and  where ever the public desires our assistance.
